Celestial Room of Cordoba Argentina Temple |
Hey Everyone-
Wow yesterday was soo cool. I felt the spirit soo strong! The church really is growing in ALL of Argentina! Yesterday the temple in Cordoba which is about 7 hours away was dedicated and we had Elder Uchtdorf and Elder christofferson come! We got to watch all 3 sessions and we saw our stake president give the opening prayer in the 3rd session so that was cool because we've worked with him a lot! We didn't get to see the cultural celebration because President told us that we can't soo it's all good:)

We had a good week and finally got into one of the houses we had been trying to get into for a little while as we pass by to others. Her name is Veronica and her dad is blind and can't really hear. We were able to talk to her for a little and we had a solid lesson on the Restoration! She is going to be baptized we both feel. It just won't be by me because she needs to go to church at least 3 times and I'm probably getting transferred, but it's ok--- it's the thought that counts! She'll be making the best decision of her life!

We also taught several other people this week! One old lady named Rosa! She was pretty prideful at the beginning but then she really took interest in us. I told her we are here in Argentina for so much time when we could be in a university and we don't even get paid. I got to bear my testimony of why I'm here and how we sincerely want to let people know of this great message. She was VERY interested in the Book of Mormon and was flipping through it and reading small parts here and there which was a really good sign that my comp and I picked up.

Also we asked for directions from this old guy when we were headed to the home of a kid that stopped us in the street a few days ago to teach him and his family. The kid named Luciano wasn't home but we did talk to this old man named Diego for a while. After we finished we planned a time to come back and talk with him and he told us," Here you have a friend!" It made me feel really good and I had never felt that kind of respect for being a missionary out on the streets here so it was a cool little experience for me.
A lot more experiences like that have been happening and the Lord is really blessing us and it's awesome! Sorry this email is a little long and I'm going to try to do better with weekly emails haha! Glad you're all patient with me-- you're all the best!!
Love the one and only,
